congrats, jadi. your story really had me on edge, it was so suspenseful and i never relaxed, but it was wonderfully written.
Thank you Beth – the first version of the story I wrote from the viewpoint of a male. When I changed the compulsive gambler to a woman, the whole dilemma suddenly got a lot more interesting.
