Hi Jadi. I’m an intensive case manager for a refugee resettlement program in Cleveland, Ohio and I’m trying to find volunteer massage therapists in my area who might be interested in working with refugees who are survivors of torture. I was wondering if you knew anyone? I really believe in the power of massage therapy for trauma and I’m trying to find more holistic therapies for my clients. Thanks in advance!
Hi Hanna, you might try the Ohio chapter of the AMTA (American Massage Therapy Association) at oh.amtamassage.org/. The AMTA is the largest umbrella organization for trained and licensed LMTs and LMPs in the US. Good luck with your work – it is so important. Be aware that my blog has moved to jadicampbell.com. I look forward to hearing more from you. All the best, Jadi
I’m glad the production went well! Good luck on your public reading. Break legs!
Thank you! Getting to participate in TVM was a wonderful experience. We sold out each of our 3 performances.
Oh, I didn’t know you an actress too! Good looking group – I really enjoy productions of “The Vagina Monologues” when it is performed locally, usually as a fund raiser.
I do not think of myself as an actress at all. To get to be part of something like TVM was a suggestion I instantly accepted.
